Recently completed audits

The following audits were completed by NITA (then the RTA) in the last few years. Previous audit reports can be found on the RTAMS Digital Document Library.

ADA Paratransit Triennial Review (July 2025): The operation of the ADA Paratransit Service, which provides transportation to eligible individuals who are unable to use accessible fixed-route services in the RTA region due to their disabilities, is the responsibility of Pace. The audit was conducted in order to comply with the amendment to the RTA Act in 2008 which requires the RTA to conduct triennial financial, compliance, and performance audits of ADA Paratransit services.

Independent Close-Out Audits for state grants for the period July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 (Completed in December 2025):

Audit of an Additional Financial Assistance Grant that totaled more than $98 million.
Audit of an Additional State Assistance Grant that totaled nearly $6.3 million.
Audit of an ADA Paratransit Service Funding Assistance totaled more than $10 million.
Audit of Reduced Fare Reimbursement Grant that totaled nearly $21 million for the purpose of reimbursing the Service Boards for revenue losses attributable to reduced fares for students, persons with disabilities, and the elderly.
